Joe is a Stage Combat Instructor, Fight Director and Performer currently working in the Virginia/DC/Maryland area.
He has been actively studying stage combat since the age of 16 and earned his bachelor’s degree in Theatre from Virginia Commonwealth. His fight choreography credits include A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder (Virginia Repertory Theatre), An Octoroon (TheatreLAB), The View Upstairs (Richmond Triangle Players), Murder Ballad (5th Wall Theatre), and over 30 others. He has also been the assistant fight director for productions at theaters across the east coast, including the Contemporary American Theatre Festival and Shakespeare Theatre Company.
Along with being a proud member of Dueling Arts International, Joe is also a member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society, SAG-AFTRA and the Society of American Fight Directors.
